The EcoDome is a flexible system that has the ability to adapt to the seasons retaining an outdoor option to enjoy those summer days and a perfect environment when the weather is not so suitable. Imagine swimming, playing, entertaining and holding functions all year round! The EcoDome is a lightweight structure with an extremely strong arch design. The patented structural standard high strength aluminium beams and doors are thermo lacquered and will not rust. (Several colours are available). Fittings, fixings and axles are made from stainless steel, wheels from nylon and slides from Teflon. The tracks for telescopic buildings are rounded and are protected when open with smooth plastic sheaths. Side windows and doors can be locked and moveable sections are secured to the rails guaranteeing their safety in high winds. U.V. treated roof panels prevent U.V. radiation penetration. The flat U.V. filtered polycarbonate clear side sheets offer a superior glazing solution, particularly when safety and impact resistance is of vital importance. Roofing material is 10mm twin wall polycarbonate and 16mm triple or 20mm quadruple wall on larger structures. It is self extinguishing and virtually unbreakable with impact resistance up to 300 x stronger than glass. The arch design provides walking space 1.83m high at only 400mm from the wall. All side windows, on both sides of the building, lift upwards into the roof. When fully open side access is available wherever you may choose. A locking device in the lifting bar secures the window in any one of three positions up to 2.00m high. Unsupported spans range from 5.00m to 30.00m with an inside height ayt the centre ranging from 2.20m to 7.00m. There is no limit to the length of an EcoDome and enclosures may be free standing or attached to a building or wall. Options include fixed position, centre opening and telescopic structures. The patented designs are recognised as amongst the most innovative and technically up to date in the world. Although primarily designed for commercial and domestic swimming pools and EcoDome will also act effectively to enclose an entertainment area, restaurant space, gymnasium, bowling green function centre, aircraft hangar and any other situation in which a versatile all weather all seasons environment is desirable.
